Standing Rib Roast


  • Standing Rib Roast, size does not matter for this recipe
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • All-Purpose Seasoning, Tiger, Regas, or Cavender's
  • Rosemary, fresh, if possible


  • Bring roast to room temperature.  
  • Pre-heat oven to 475° F. 
  • Sprinkle roast liberally with seasoning, salt, pepper, and rosemary. Put in oven. 
  • After 20 minutes turn temperature down to 325° F.  
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes per pound for medium-rare in the center and medium on outside. Add 5-7 minutes per pound for medium in center and medium-well on outside.  
  • Pull out of oven when internal temperature is 125° for medium-rare, 135 for medium, and 145 for medium-well.


  • IMPORTANT: Let roast rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing!!!
