Standing Rib Roast

  • Standing Rib Roast (size does not matter for this recipe)
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)
  • All-Purpose Seasoning (Tiger, Regas, or Cavender's)
  • Rosemary (fresh, if possible)
  1. Bring roast to room temperature.  

  2. Pre-heat oven to 475° F. 

  3. Sprinkle roast liberally with seasoning, salt, pepper, and rosemary. Put in oven. 

  4. After 20 minutes turn temperature down to 325° F.  

  5. Cook for 15-20 minutes per pound for medium-rare in the center and medium on outside. Add 5-7 minutes per pound for medium in center and medium-well on outside.  

  6. Pull out of oven when internal temperature is 125° for medium-rare, 135 for medium, and 145 for medium-well.

  • IMPORTANT: Let roast rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing!!!
